Coconut Chocolate Chip Cookies

Coconut Chocolate Chip Cookies Image

Ingrediants:

DRY:
1 cup 250 mL white flour
3 cups 750 mL graham cracker crumbs
4 tsp 20 mL baking powder
WET:
1 cup 250 mL butter
2 14oz cans 2 14oz cans sweetened condensed milk
2 2/3 cups 650 mL coconut
EXTRA:
3 cups 750 mL chocolate chips
2 cups 500 mL chopped walnuts

Instructions:

  1. Beat butter and sweetened condensed milk until smooth.
  2. Beat in coconut.
  3. Seperately, mix flour, graham cracker crumbs, and baking powder.
  4. Add "dry" mixture to "wet" mixture in thirds.
  5. Beat in the chocolate chips and walnuts.
  6. Form into "walnut-sized" balls (2.5 cm / 1 inch) and place on an ungreased cookie sheet.
  7. Bake at 375F (190C) for 8 - 10 minutes. They will spread slightly.
