Hardboiled Eggs

I always forget the exact details, so I assume other people do too.

  1. Place the eggs in a pot and cover them with cold water.
  2. Put the pot on the stove at maximum heat. Cook with the lid on.
  3. When the water boils, turn off the heat and set a timer for 20 minutes.
  4. When the timer rings, the eggs are cooked.
  5. It is easier to peel eggs before they cool off. This only really matters if you are going to put them in the fridge.
